1. Partners Healthcare Graduate Medical Education Interactive Wireframes and Prototypes

Client: Partners Healthcare
Employer: Geary LSF
Role: Designer, Developer

Using tools like Axure RP, Balsamiq and OmniGraffle to create dynamic interactive prototypes had helped us pre-visualize and plan out the effectiveness and usability of any proposed layout for desktop user interfaces and getting the design approach in front of users and stakeholders before going to code. All three programs did a great job of simulating the same kind of front-end and client-side functionality and logic found on most 'real' websites, with comparatively little effort.

2. Partners Graduate Medical Education Completed Redesign

Client: Partners Healthcare
Employer: Geary LSF
Role: Designer, Developer

As part of a larger effort to migrate, consolidate and simplify the incredibly large amount of content on the existing Partners HealthCare site, a new look and layout was requested for the sub-site for Partner's Graduate Medical Education program. After several interactive wireframe prototypes were generated and approved, work began to flesh out the layout with the agreed upon styles created for application across all Partners-affiliated sites, ensuring a consistent look and feel across Partners entire web presence.

3. Partners Quality & Safety Infographics

Client: Partners Healthcare
Employer: Geary LSF
Role: Designer

This initiative involved the complete re-organization and re-design of a disparate number of websites representing key facets of Partners HealthCare services and organizations. This group included Partners Care at Home, Partners International Office and the Partners Center of Personalized Genetic Medicine.

Partners Quality & Safety was a referral website where the specific measurements and metrics of health care industry performance and quality standards from several Partners-affiliated hospitals could be found.
As part of this extensive modification project, Geary LSF was charged with creating new creative and styles for several graphs and charts making up the bulk of these performance reports. Static images would be replaced with Flash/XML-based embedded Fusion charts, and larger infographics would be used to summarize certain metrics. The infographics would be created with Piktochart, a web-based service which renders entered data into customized visualizations. Colors and other styles were applied to both infographics and Fusion charts for consistent look and feel.

4. Spaulding Rehab Quality Assurance and Testing

Client: Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital
Employer: Geary LSF
Role: QA Lead

Hot on the heels of the four re-vamped Partners HealthCare sites was this effort to upgrade certain page templates within the primary Spaulding Rehabilitation Network website, including the homepage and most section landing and subpages for the most forward-facing information.

In addition to extensive site-wide cross-browser and device render testing, a great deal of QA attention was focused on the newly integrated facility and service locator functionality incorporating Google Maps API.

Dozens of test cases were applied to these very prominent finder forms to ensure the accuracy and precision of the logic that determined the location results of all facilities, services or physicians that fell within a choice of radius from any given ZIP code.

5. Connected Health Symposium Interactive Wireframes

Using tools like Axure RP and Balsamiq to create dynamic interactive prototypes has helped us pre-visualize and plan out the effectiveness and usability of any proposed layout for desktop and mobile user interfaces by getting the design approach in front of the client before having to start coding and enter the buildout phase. Both do a great job of simulating the same kind of front-end functionality found on most current websites, with comparatively little ramp-up. In this case, we wanted to explore the usefulness of accordion components to reviewed a scheduled agenda.
